Laila Soliman and Ruud Gielens collaborated with children and adolescents from various backgrounds, all of whom have proven themselves to be real-life superheroes in one way or another. These young superheroes are heroic characters endowed with supernatural and superhuman powers, dedicated to combating evil and crime while safeguarding people from harm. The project explores how to survive in sometimes hostile environments due to being different, by expressing themselves through a meta-character that advances their identity or simply aids in surviving mysterious everyday violence. These young Tunisian superheroes share their stories of survival and teach the strategies and mechanisms they developed to cope with various problems and pressures one might face.

Laila worked as a Director for this project.
